You know what they say about old habits-they are incredibly hard to break. Growing up on the beach you would assume I have a massive collection of swimwear cover ups, but to be honest I’ve always been a loyal follower of cut off jean shorts and a loose tank over a swimsuit. In fact-this extremely cozy Pitusa maxi dress is the ONLY cover up I have in my closet. I’m all about comfort and this amazing gypsy inspired dress I could literally sleep in. I also absolutely adore the sexy slit on the side of the dress and the rainbow “pom pom” designs embedded on the sleeves. This Pitusa maxi is the ideal outfit for a pool party with friends, an afternoon on the beach or even could be dressed up with a white slip and wedges for a night out! Totally unique, boho & one of a kind-just my style!
Now let’s talk about this hat. Beautiful Things LA is a totally remodeled school bus that sells vintage inspired goodies, jewelry, hats, clutches and so much more. I’ve seen this bus parked on the street in Venice a couple times, but on Friday when I saw it on Melrose, I decided to stop in and take a look. It is with no surprise that this bus (or really intimate gallery) was built and designed in Portland, Oregon-a city filled with one of a kind artistic inspiration. The bus felt homey and smelled just like “Santal” by Le Labo. One of the goodies I picked up here was this amazing wide rimmed straw hat. I’ve built up quite the hat collection, but this is by far my favorite. I love it’s vintage feel but classic shape and summer vibe. Totally obsessed.
I hope everyone had a wonderful start to their week! So much more to come but until next time…
