I have a special place in my heart for sleeveless summer dresses. There is something so flattering about them, even when you don’t have the best tan (in my case OBVIOUSLY). This Cynthia Rowley Cotton Peasant Dress has a permanent home in the front of my closet during this time of year. It’s my go-to for any event ranging from a garden party (actually when is the last time I went to a garden party? Can someone throw one…), brunch with friends, bridal parties (never ending this season) or over a bathing suit on the way to the beach.

In this case, I decided to dress it up a bit for sushi night with my boyfriend. I paired it with my classic Topshop metallic strappy heels and this sparkly clutch. I bought this clutch on the street in New York almost a year ago and have been dying to find an outfit to wear it with. I love one of a kind pieces like this – one’s that you only bring out for special occasions and that don’t look anything like the conventional purse. I have no idea who makes this, but I think that’s also what makes it super special – it was a random find and I’m obsessed with the design!!

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday! I shot a couple more looks yesterday that I can’t wait to share – stay tuned! So much more to come but until next time…
