I’ve never thought leggings were particularly flattering when paired with a t-shirt unless they were made of some sort of spandex material. However, when I saw these navy Reformation leggings, I was obsessed. Not only are they high waisted (you know how I feel about that fit!!), but they have the cutest pockets and hug my waist and legs in such a comfortable and sexy way. I actually feel like I have long legs when I put these on!
Also, these pants really were a canvas for me as it gave me the opportunity to go for any type of vibe. I decided to stick with a more urban look and shot behind the cutest diner on Beverly in West Hollywood. I threw on my favorite ZARA graphic tee and cream 3.1 Phillip Lim double-breasted vest to really pull the outfit together. I love how this vest hangs on my body and the delicate ribbons that embody the back of it.
I’ve been looking for a classic cross body bag lately-one that is subtle and classic. This Halston Heritage one is perfect, as I love the black and white color block and the structured shape of it.
I can’t help but realize that just about everyone is making New Years Resolutions (some more realistic than others) and I decided that instead of setting some crazy standard or putting an absurd amount of pressure on myself, I just want to focus on love and how I can give, receive and appreciate it.
Happy 2014! More to come but until next time…
