As I walked into Reformation yesterday on Melrose, I was instantly hit by a wave of fall clothing and accessories. When I think of Reformation, I generally visualize amazingly sexy and bright, silk and floral dresses, worn-in tees and chic jumpsuits. However, my trip today opened my eyes to the other inventory this store has to offer, with front racks filled with black, white, pastel, navy and other Fall colors that I can’t wait to jump into.
I’m always on the look out for navy dresses and tops. I think navy is such a classic and feminine color and this dress can be summed up as exactly that! There is something so magical and special about finding a piece of clothing that you are certain you must have. First of all, I love the silk loose sleeves and the tied knot on the front. The fact that I’ve never bought anything from Reformation before convinced me that I had to buy it…at least just to say that I own something by this company I so greatly adore. It could also be the cut out sides, open back and the fact that it’s a romper that made this little number irresistible.
A great pair of staple beige pointy toe heels are not only a must have for fall, but really for any season. I love this pair from JOA Closet and the simplicity of the design. Also, the low heel ensured this outfit would stray away from being too fancy or for a lack of a better word: skimpy. I decided to pair this outfit with this fun and flirty snakeskin H&M clutch that honestly can be tacky in certain situations but worked perfectly with this outfit.
Working on some cool projects for the site right now. Get ready and until next time…
